It is not uncommon for braces to break from time to time, however orthodontic emergencies are rare. This page contains information which may assist you if something has broken or if you have any concerns about you brace.

If an appliance breaks then we request that you can contact us as soon as possible to arrange an approporiate appointment for review and repair. If a fixed appliance breaks and is causing significant discomfort outside normal surgery hours, then you may call our appointment line to obtain the emrgergency number. Cranleigh Orthodontics has allied itself with a small number of other reputable orthodontic practices in the area, and an emergency rota system is in operation for urgent on call advice.

It is important to note that this service is for emergencies only and for patients of Cranleigh orthodontics alone. In the very rare event that a call out is necessary, this may need to be arranged at the surgery of whomever is on call, (not necessarily Cranleigh) and may incur a fee.

For orthodontic problems which require repair, at the next available appointment, please call our appointments line during normal surgery hours and this will be arranged for you.
